Join us to help advocate for the local small business community. We value our small businesses because they contribute to DC’s economy, commercial corridors, workforce, and culture of the District. It’s an opportunity for ALL of us to gather to discuss our small business budget priorities, then attend one-on-one meetings with DC Councilmembers and/or their staff on Wednesday, May 8th from 10 AM to Noon at the John A. Wilson Building. Click here to RSVP.

What is advocacy day?

It’s an opportunity for ALL of US, especially businesses and organizations that work with them, to gather to discuss our small business budget priorities, then attend one-on-one meetings with DC Councilmembers and/or their staff to influence their decisions on our FY20 budget priorities.

Want to learn more about these key programs ? Check out the economic development programs we advocate on and why they’re so important!

Why attend:

You’ll have an opportunity to share your story and tell Councilmembers and their staff you care about funding for small business programs!
